Why a new plant

The new plant was created to improve, expand and increase production of PVC fittings and valves, with new dedicated automated lines.

COMER PVC fittings and valves serve water treatment, waterworks, irrigation and industrial plants in Italy and worldwide. More production capacity means we can serve customers better, while keeping what sets the company apart: fully Italian production, certified quality and fast worldwide shipping.

How we set it up

The building was completely renovated and rebuilt. COMER’s production team was directly involved in installing the lines, working alongside specialist transport and lifting companies: each press was unloaded, lifted by crane, positioned, leveled and connected.

Automation and robotics

The presses are served by robotic arms that pick and handle the molded parts, and by a system of tanks and hoppers that feeds them continuously. Automation supports a repeatable cycle and consistent quality of fittings and valves.

What the new plant produces

The new lines are dedicated to PVC fittings and valves, the core of the COMER range, made entirely in Italy for water treatment, waterworks, irrigation, swimming pools and industrial applications.

Quality and safety

The presses are fitted with metal-mesh safety cages and perimeter guards to protect operators, in line with COMER’s UNI ISO 45001 certified occupational health and safety system.

Production follows the same standards and quality controls that define COMER. See our certifications.
